Honorable Client!
We inform you that since May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been applied in Latvia, which determines the procedure for processing the personal data of natural persons. SIA “Krauzers” has taken the necessary steps to comply with the requirements of the regulation and to ensure that Clients’ personal data is stored securely, processed lawfully, and used only in accordance with the specified processing purposes.
To ensure that SIA “Krauzers” Clients are informed about what personal data SIA “Krauzers” collects and processes about them, the SIA “Krauzers” Client Personal Data Processing Policy was developed and approved on May 25, 2018. The policy includes the following basic information:
Categories of Client Personal Data
SIA “Krauzers” primarily processes only those personal data obtained so that SIA “Krauzers” can provide services and sell goods to Clients (Client’s name, surname, personal identity code, residential address, contact information).
Purposes of Processing Client Personal Data:
• Provision of services and sale of goods;
• Protection of the interests of SIA “Krauzers” and/or the Clients;
• Establishment, exercise, and defense of legal claims;
• Fulfillment of legal obligations;
• Provision of information to public institutions;
• Other specific cases, informing the Client in advance.
Duration of Personal Data Storage
SIA “Krauzers” has the right to store Client data as long as at least one of the following criteria exists:
• The contract concluded with the Client is in force;
• SIA “Krauzers” or the Client can exercise their legitimate interests in the manner prescribed by regulatory enactments (e.g., filing a claim in court);
• SIA “Krauzers” has a legal obligation to store the Client’s personal data;
• The Client’s consent to the respective processing of personal data is in force, if such consent has been given, and if there is no other legal basis for data processing.
In the event that none of the above criteria exist, the Client’s personal data is deleted immediately.
Information Regarding Client Rights
The Client is entitled to receive information from SIA “Krauzers” regarding:
• Which personal data of the Client SIA “Krauzers” has received and is processing;
• To whom SIA “Krauzers” has transferred the Client’s personal data.
Furthermore, the Client may request the supplementation, correction, deletion, transfer to another controller (portability), or restriction of processing of their personal data.
SIA “Krauzers” also informs you that video surveillance is conducted at the company’s facilities and within the premises used by the company. The presence of video cameras is indicated by relevant warning signs placed before entering SIA “Krauzers” facilities.

In the event that a natural person believes SIA “Krauzers” is performing unlawful processing of their personal data, SIA “Krauzers” requests that you use the contact information provided above to review and resolve the potential violation (should one be identified). If SIA “Krauzers” does not take the aforementioned actions, natural persons have the right to contact the State Data Inspectorate with a relevant complaint.
